At Least We Know The Prosthetic Squirrel Hips Work

Our beloved friends the Peabodys are coming home today from Memphis! Joseph has finished his radiation treatments, and thus we get to enjoy having them near once again. Andrew decided this called for his most extensive art project to-date.

The Precious was permitted to use a real marker for the first time, which was big fun. I stood by with a wet paper towel to wipe up the stray marks from the floor, but he actually did quite well.

Andrew then explored his space with stickers. Another first.

Here's some video of the sticker learning curve:

For some adorable, toddlery reason he felt the need to kiss the poster. Many times.

And the artist with his completed creation.

This is what was happening behind me as I worked to un-tape the project from the floor ....

Very nice pictures of the art project! I've tried to interest Caleb in coloring but he finds taking the crayons in and out of the container far more exciting.
Once he sees the box, the project is over.

isn't it always the case that while you're prepared to clean up stray marker lines on the floor, there busy crushing cereal everywhere instead. the unexpected life with a toddler. :)

He looks like he's praying towards Mecca :)

As I look at the sweet poster on my wall, it makes it even sweeter to see its creation and that it was kissed by TCBITW so many times! Love you guys so much!! Joe has been asking where Andrew is a lot (a true mark of his love)...he always wants to know where his loved ones are located. We'll have to raid the Beavers' trampoline together soon.

Isn't it AMAZING what they can get into when you've scarcely turned your head? I've found all SORTS of things in Reese's mouth over the last couple of weeks. On another note--Andrew is really starting to look more like a toddler, less like a baby!
